Autoglass moves to Sheffield shopper's paradise

Autoglass has opened a new branch near Meadowhall in Sheffield as part of an ongoing drive to strengthen its national network and make its services more accessible to fleet customers.

The windscreen repair and replacement specialist had previously been operating out of smaller premises in Sheffield city centre, but increasing demand and access issues encouraged the move to a bigger and better location. The new branch, just a couple of minutes walk from the popular Meadowhall shopping centre and a short drive from J34 of the M1, offers a full automotive glazing service including windscreen and body glass replacements, as well as chip repairs. Although the branch has a number of mobile technicians out on the road, its convenient location and easy access means it is also popular for customers requiring a drop in service.

Nigel Doggett, managing director of Autoglass, says: “A key priority for us is the delivery of a world class service to our fleet customers, getting their vehicles back on the road as quickly and safely as possible to minimise downtime. At a time when competitors are closing branches, we are investing in our locations to ensure that we are able to strengthen and expand our network and remain accessible to our fleet customers.”

Autoglass is the UK’s leading vehicle glass repair and replacement service with 121 branches nationwide and 1,300 mobile service units.
