Keech Cottage children enjoy Woburn Safari Day

Local firm Autoglass hosted a special fun day at Woburn Safari Park for children and families being cared for by the Keech Cottage hospice. The day was funded by the £4,753.72 raised by Autoglass team specifically for this event and several staff volunteered as helpers on the day.

This is the third year Autoglass has provided children and families at Keech Cottage with a day to remember, and the initiative is part of the firm’s commitment to local charities. This year was the first time bereaved families were invited to take part in the day, where they were able to share their stories with other parents and children.

Managing director for Autoglass, Nigel Doggett, said “Keech Cottage is a remarkable place which provides high quality, specialist care for children and their families. The day was a great success and we were delighted to see the children and staff at Keech Cottage, as well as their friends and families, having fun. Nobody deserves it more.”
