Autoglass named 2008 Superbrand

Autoglass, the Bedfordshire-based windscreen repair and replacement expert, has been named as one of the UK’s most recognised brands having won a place on this year’s list of Top 500 Superbrands.
The prestigious Superbrands list is a key annual barometer measuring the performance of brands across a wide variety of sectors, looking in particular at quality, reliability and distinction. This is the second year in a row that Autoglass has made it on to the list, triumphing alongside other household names including Heinz and Barclays.

Autoglass delivers a world-class service in the UK, serving more than 1.5 million customers nationwide every year through its 109 branches and 1,300 mobile service units. In 2008 the firm launched a new TV advertising campaign, which has seen a huge rise in customers repairing their chipped windscreens.

Brands that have attained Superbrand status have been selected from a shortlist of approximately 1,350 brands. The 650 top ranked brands, according to the council’s scores, are put forward to a consumer election which is managed by YouGov plc. The final top 500 scoring brands from the election are awarded Superbrand status.
