Policy holders click onto new fully interactive Autoglass website

Autoglass continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing a world class service for its customers with the launch of a new online booking facility. A first for the vehicle glass repair and replacement industry, the user-friendly service is set to make it even easier for insurance policy holders to book a convenient appointment at a time and place that suits them.

The new service has been designed to offer simplicity of use and an online booking service in a few easy steps. A choice of time slots are provided and customers can select whether they would like to take their vehicle in to their nearest branch or arrange for a technician to visit them at their home or workplace, leaving policy holders completely in control to tailor the service to their needs.

Online booking is just one of the features of the newly revamped Autoglass website which has been designed to provide motorists with an easy-to-follow guide to glass repair and replacement. The site also includes branch information, including a branch locator with map and route planner facility, advice on repair over replacement options and more about Autoglass as a company.

Other unique features of the website are the new interactive presentations which provide easy to follow demonstrations of windscreen repair and windscreen and side/ rear glass replacement. The aim is to help customers understand how the process works.

Nigel Doggett, managing director at Autoglass says: “The importance of the internet as a communication tool continues to grow, and for most of our insurance partners, it has become a vital component of their marketing strategy. As far as direct insurers are concerned, the majority of their customers purchase their policy via the web and we wanted to reflect this preference by offering our own online booking option, allowing customers to choose when and where they want their glass repaired or replaced without having to pick up the phone.

Our new site adds even more flexibility and value to our service proposition, and underlines our commitment to providing the best customer service we possibly can.”
