Autoglass official Children In Need call centre

Tonight, Friday 18th November, Autoglass, the UK's leading vehicle glass repair and replacement will be one of the official call centres for this year's Children In Need.  The BBC is hosting a celebrity filled night of TV and will be encouraging viewers to call the special donation lines.

The Autoglass call centre, based at the company's head quarters in Bedford, will be the official call centre for the Bedfordshire region and around 100 staff from across the business, including senior management, technicians and customer service staff, will be standing by to man the 50 phone lines and take an anticipated 5000 donation calls.

The Autoglass team is very excited to be one of the 50 call centres across the UK helping Children In Need beat the £39million raised last year. Following the great success of Comic Relief earlier this year, which was the first time Autoglass had been an official donations call centre, we were keen to help again. It is incredibly rewarding to take part in this kind of event as we are so passionate about the fantastic work that Children In Need does, but its also great fun and the buzz on the night is electric.

The Autoglass team will be building up to the big event throughout the day with a variety of ˜school disco' themed celebrations and fund-raising activities. The phone lines will go live at 6.30pm and the team will continue to take donations until midnight. 

The Autoglass call centre, which is open 24/7 will also continue to take customer calls throughout the event. Customers who require assistance with their vehicle glass should call the usual number: 0800 36 36 36.  Whilst those wishing to donate to Children In Need should call the number which is published on the BBC One show on the night.
